Modern Architecture Exhibit Package

This poster was part of a class project designed for introducing and promoting a fictional event of our choice. The idea was to use minimal graphics (we were limited to 3 max) and more experiments with type. The name of the exhibition was taken from a CD album because it stuck in my head and was very appropriate for the whole campaign, which focuses on modern architecture and the advent of skyscrapers during the international movement. The album itself relly wasn’t so great, but it had a great name–I guess things like that just happen all the time.
Event Invite

The invitation for the same event. It was designed to be mailed in a semi-clear vellum envelope so that the colors would stand out.
Event Brochure

The Architectural event brochure, a single vertical fold; it uses repeating imagery of the Guggenheim for background effect. The type is mainly simplistic and relies on a few colors for contrast. I’m not even sure now where the copy in the brochure came from…
